About Corrie and Co

We are a newly formed, dynamic estate agency business created in the spring of 2010 with branch offices in Barrow and Ulverston.

The business is a partnership between David Corrie and the Holker Estate group. David Corrie has been one of South Cumbria’s leading estate agents for the past twenty years, and the Holker Estate group is a collection of businesses owned by Lord Cavendish and family. The Holker Estate group employs 250 people within its six businesses, including Cartmel Race Course and Burlington Slate.

Using our ethos ‘the requirements of the client must always come first/be priority’, Corrie and Co have recruited experienced staff with proven outstanding levels of customer service, to protect the interests of the public when buying and selling property, and to make the overall process considerably easier and- perhaps most importantly- stress-free.

Our staff, guided by David Corrie, are also experienced in providing quality assistance and advice on the provision of legal conveyancing services, and independent mortgage advice; always with the client's best interests at the fore.

We will provide an honest, professional and free market appraisal of your property when you are thinking of selling - we will not mislead you with rosy coloured false valuation assessments. We will always work with your best interests at heart, to achieve the highest possible selling price.  The vast experience of David and our staff teams will allow us to deliver our "price promise" with a minimum of stress to all our clients.

To simplify the process, we have actively negotiated qualified, quality legal services at highly competitive fee levels. This is to ensure that the legal side of any transaction is delivered efficiently, at a lower level cost, as part of the sales package.  We believe that clients should have a choice of conveyance, which we can assist with, and that clients should expect and receive a quality, supportive and informative service.

Further, to protect our clients and also to help them make financial arrangements with mortgages etc. as part of the purchase of property, we have strong links with a range of independent financial advisors who will work as part of the property team to deliver impartial professional advice.
